The United Methodist Women meet on the first Thursday of each month except June, July, & August in the Velma B. Oakes FLC 
The meal begins at 11:00 a.m. with the meeting following.  All women are welcome.

                                                    following are some of the many things our UMW  
has done for our church and community.
 
The Lord has blessed us for another year and allowed us the opportunity, health and stamina to do his work.  Once again we are able to give good report due to so many devoted ladies and supporting men that are willing to give a lot of themselves!
 
 
 
 
v      UMW Sunday Celebration
v      Presented service pins to UMW supporters
v      Furnished cookies for the Blood mobile
v      Sent cookies to our freshmen college students
v      Honored our high school seniors with a dinner and gifts
v      Our women were represented at all Pawhuska Church Women meetings
v      Qualified and received 5 star recognition & met our district pledge
v      Coordinated a kitchen cleaning
v      Some of our members coordinated Holy Week Services for the community
v      Continued selling Afghans & car tags as a fund raiser
v      Hosted reception for the Children’s Christmas program
v      Gave money to buy Christmas gifts for a DHS foster child
v      Prepared and served bereavement dinners
v      Took Christmas gifts, Valentines & Easter baskets to shut-ins
v      Deliver treats to the nursing home residents once a week
v      Memorial gifts were given to honor deceased members for the year
v      Donated funds& food for the Senior all night party
v      On going card ministry for church member and community friends
v      Provide refreshments for Jr/Sr High Youth Program
v      Two on-going prayer chains
v      Collected and gave out school supplies in our community 
v      Outfitted two 8th grade graduates with new clothing for graduation ceremony.
v      Hosted and participate in district UMW Cluster meetings.
 
Again we thank each and everyone for the love and support we have received this year as
well as in past years.  We know how blessed we are to be a part of a wonderful
church family.
